Withdraw From Your Paypal Account. Your Dollars to Pesos

Mood:  Relaxed.

Oh man I cannot believe those 2 weeks passed by so fast. I missed being here. Work has been quite demanding, I couldn't even steal a few hours to do a mini update. I survived thanks to grande lattes and catnaps. So it's all good.

We're already halfway through the year. Before we know it, the ber months will be on our doorstep. I cannot wait!

Withdraw your Paypal $$$ to PhP
I have mentioned in my previous post that I discussed Paypal with my friend and that I should share it here as well.

From my experience, Paypal is the most convenient and safest way to transact business in the internet. I use it to purchase stuff on eBay, Amazon, Zalora, etc.

If you plan to purchase anything via the internet or set up your own business (selling or buying on sulit.com , eBayPH, etc) it is best to set up your own Paypal account. Just follow the easy steps at Paypal.com

Remember, starting a personal  Paypal  account is free. No monthly or cancellation fees. And your financial information is safe, you do not have to expose or give out your credit card details each time your purchase. Very important detail!

Once your account is set up, simply log in and add your bank account ( I use Union Bank - EON Card ) You can also try BPI ePrepaid Mastercard or inquire at BDO.com

Log in to Paypal. Go to Profile. Click tab Add/Edit Bank Account or Profile. Add/Edit Credit Card. Don't forget to input the bank code  List here @pinoymoneytalk
Select 'Withdraw', enter the amount you want to withdraw, and select the bank account to receive the money

There is a minimum withdrawal limit depending on the currency which you want to withdraw. For US Dollars it is $ 10.00. Most withdrawals to bank accounts get processed within 5-7 banking days.

Taylor Lautner for Bench. Just wow!

World-class retail genius Ben Chan scored another 10 (or was it an 11?) when he signed up Twilight's Jacob Black, Taylor Lautner as the newest Bench endorser. Check out his amazing posters at  bench.com.ph

pinoypower.ph "Taylor Lautner, best known for his role as Jacob Black in the highly-successful film franchise “Twilight,” is the latest international star to become endorser of the Filipino global clothing brand Bench.
Beginning today, June 20, giant billboards featuring Taylor Lautner as the newest Bench endorser can be seen along EDSA and other parts of the country. The Hollywood heartthrob joins the elite list of “Global Benchsetters” like “The Vampire Diaries” star Michael Trevino, “American Idol” season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez, Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, “The Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth, “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale, Korean heartthrob Lee Min Ho, Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, Taiwanese superstar Jerry Yan, Super Junior’s Lee Donghae and Choi Siwon and Grammy-winning Fil-Am R&B singer and songwriter Bruno Mars.

cosmo.ph Bench went all out for the production of the print and TV campaign (everything was shot in 10 hours!), tapping some of Hollywood's finest to style and direct the Twilight hunk. Taylor was styled by Samantha McMillen, whose clients include Carrie Mulligan and Natalie Portman. Anthony Mandler (known for Rihanna's music videos such as "Only Girl in the World") took charge of the direction and photography of the print and TV campaign."

There you go Chel, as promised. Good luck to you and hopefully you get a chance to meet Taylor when he visits Manila. The 21-year-old Hollywood heartthrob is currently filming 'Tracers' in New York City and is in Adam Sandler's 'Grown Up 2, which will hit cinemas soon.

Errand Monday. Plus Django and Rosie

Mood: Hump-day lazy.
Blogging about Errand Monday on Wednesday. Where did Tuesday go? :D

I did my regular errand run Monday, I paid the cable bill, bought some supplies at National Book Store, and did a quick grocery trip at Save More, all in convenient Festival Mall in Alabang. I also dropped by my fave bargain book shop, Book Sale and bought Cecelia Ahern's book, 'Where Rainbows End' and a few back issues of Glamour magazine.

Great Book Sale Steals. Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern at P150.00.  Glamour and Vibe magazines back issues at P5.00-20.00 per. So cheap, yay!

First stop, VibeMag. I love Leonardo Dicaprio, Jamie Foxx, and Kerry Washington's interview for 'Django Unchained' featured in Vibe Magazine. It was very interesting to learn about the lead actors' insights on some of the controversial issues surrounding Quentin Tarantino's 2012 offering.  If you love Tarantino's revenge themes, nonlinear storylines, and signature colorful/captivating characters, then you'll definitely enjoy the movie. Well, if you missed Django "The D is silent" (lol love that quote) when it debuted in Philippine cinemas last March, the DVD/Blu-ray is now available @Amazon or at your local Odyssey or AstroVision branches.

I'm just finishing up reading my old Bridget Jones (by Helen Fielding) book, next of course is 'Where Rainbows End'. I can't wait to know more about Rosie and Alex's roller-coaster friendship and romance. By  the way, Ms. Ahern's 2004 novel is now being adapted for the big screen starring Lily Collins (Abduction and Mirror Mirror) and Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Hunger Games: Catching Fire). The film version 'Love, Rosie' is set for release in 2014.

Enough of entertainment recoms... I had a lengthy discussion with my friend Jen (who's a newbie online entrepreneur) about converting the money  (US$) in her Paypal to cold hard Philippine Peso, so I would probably talk about that next time. And my daughter wanted us to try this new tea restoshop in Alabang so I will make sure I'll let you in on that too. So exciting 'rolls eyes' lol. Not really.

First Post

Mood: Excited.
New baby blog is still under construction.

Hello new blog. Yay! I've been in the blogosphere for years now but this is my first venture to blog about 'everything and anything' local and then some.  This should be a fun venture. No more demanding deadlines, no more pressure. No more crazy hours. I'm going to take it easy...well, at least for this blog lol. Ah life is sweet...as it should be.

I would probably talk about every day stuff, like life's simple joys which for me means good food, interesting books, and excellent shopping deals. I love TV and the movies, so I would probably touch on entertainment once in a while. Maybe attempt to be a bit adventurous and try some new crazy trends or go travelling (packing alone stresses me. ugh).

This is going to be fun. I hope I convinced myself enough. lol
