Errand Monday. Plus Django and Rosie

Mood: Hump-day lazy.
Blogging about Errand Monday on Wednesday. Where did Tuesday go? :D

I did my regular errand run Monday, I paid the cable bill, bought some supplies at National Book Store, and did a quick grocery trip at Save More, all in convenient Festival Mall in Alabang. I also dropped by my fave bargain book shop, Book Sale and bought Cecelia Ahern's book, 'Where Rainbows End' and a few back issues of Glamour magazine.

Great Book Sale Steals. Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern at P150.00.  Glamour and Vibe magazines back issues at P5.00-20.00 per. So cheap, yay!

First stop, VibeMag. I love Leonardo Dicaprio, Jamie Foxx, and Kerry Washington's interview for 'Django Unchained' featured in Vibe Magazine. It was very interesting to learn about the lead actors' insights on some of the controversial issues surrounding Quentin Tarantino's 2012 offering.  If you love Tarantino's revenge themes, nonlinear storylines, and signature colorful/captivating characters, then you'll definitely enjoy the movie. Well, if you missed Django "The D is silent" (lol love that quote) when it debuted in Philippine cinemas last March, the DVD/Blu-ray is now available @Amazon or at your local Odyssey or AstroVision branches.

I'm just finishing up reading my old Bridget Jones (by Helen Fielding) book, next of course is 'Where Rainbows End'. I can't wait to know more about Rosie and Alex's roller-coaster friendship and romance. By  the way, Ms. Ahern's 2004 novel is now being adapted for the big screen starring Lily Collins (Abduction and Mirror Mirror) and Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Hunger Games: Catching Fire). The film version 'Love, Rosie' is set for release in 2014.

Here's the author Cecelia Ahern with actors Sam Claflin and Lily Collins collider.com

Enough of entertainment recoms... I had a lengthy discussion with my friend Jen (who's a newbie online entrepreneur) about converting the money  (US$) in her Paypal to cold hard Philippine Peso, so I would probably talk about that next time. And my daughter wanted us to try this new tea restoshop in Alabang so I will make sure I'll let you in on that too. So exciting 'rolls eyes' lol. Not really.
